Service Description
Advanced course offering students the necessary tools needed to prevent a home invasion. Actions during this type of event such as escape, evasion and de-escalation. It also teaches the student how to use both non-lethal and lethal means safely, ethically and responsibly during an unavoidable violent confrontation. Lastly it teaches students the possible legal ramifications and psychological impact of defending oneself or others. Students will need for class: note taking materials drinks, lunch and or snacks a defensive firearm of at least .380 ACP or .38spl 200 rounds of ammunition extra magazines or speedloaders sturdy belt sturdy strong side holster magazine or speedloader pouches (optional) eye and ear protection comfortable clothing overgarment such as a jacket or oversized button-down shirt closed toed athletic type shoes Foul weather clothing is recommended for sessions during inclement weather. materials provided: textbooks targets A defensive firearm, ammunition, magazines, speedloaders, belts, holsters, eye and ear protection can be provided in case a student needs any of these items for any reason on the day of class This is a pre-requisite course for NRA Personal Protection Outside the Home.
